Kurt Johannesson, born 1935, is a Swedish professor emeritus of rhetoric since 1988.
In 1996, he received the litterary award, the Tegnér Price.
Kurt Johannesson was formerly Sweden's only rhetoric professor, but is now in good company by Lennart Hellspong (Södertörn University), Brigitte Mral (Örebro University), Mats Rosengren (Södertörn University), Jens Elmelunde Kjeldsen (Södertörn University) and Anders Sigrell (Lund University). Johannesson has written many books, and is currently working at Uppsala University.
