Julia Balogun, BSc, MBA, PhD, is a Senior Lecturer in Strategic Management at Cranfield School of Management.
Julia joined the Strategic Management Group at Cranfield in 1992. Prior to joining Cranfield, she was a senior consultant in the financial services consultancy division of Coopers & Lybrand (now PriceWaterhouseCoopers). Julia also has general management experience having worked in line-management positions before joining Coopers.
At Cranfield Julia specialises in the management of strategic change, with a focus on linking the formulation of strategy through to the implementation of associated cultural and organisational changes. She regularly works with both senior and middle managers on issues to do with strategy and change in their organisations, and directs a programme on Delivering Strategic Change. She also co-directs the newly established Cranfield Change Management Consortium. This is a consortium of companies including GKN, Glaxo Smithkline, Hewlett Packard and Ernst & Young, set up to examine issues to do with the management of change. Her publications include Exploring Strategic Change, which was published at the beginning of 1999, Prentice-Hall.
