Joe Marconi

Joe Marconi is a marketing communications consultant and writer with more than two decades of award-winning advertising, public relations and marketing programs to his credit. He has been both a corporate communications executive and principal of a major national agency. His clients have included some of the most discriminating, demanding and competitive enterprises in their respective industries, such as Chrysler, Mitsubishi, Xerox, the Cable Television Marketing Council, the American Marketing Association and the Chicago Board of Trade.

He is a recognized expert on image marketing, brand marketing, and crisis management. A frequent lecturer and seminar leader throughout the U.S. and Canada, his writing has appeared in the International Herald Tribune, Chicago Tribune, and numerous trade publications including American Demographics and Adweek. Mr. Marconi is the author of eight books on marketing, including the best-sellers Image Marketing; Shock Marketing; The Brand Marketing Book; The Complete Guide to Publicity; and Crisis Marketing: When Bad Things Happen to Good Companies. His books are published in at least 10 languages and 15 countries. He is a member of the Authors Guild of America and the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
